If we thought that Al Gore and people like him and their warnings about global warming is on the other half of the Earth, well .... it isn't so far away, or so far-fetched ... it is almost at our doorstep!

It must be when at - of all places - the Shangri-La Dialogue and its gathering of military and security chiefs, PM spoke of global warming and the need for concerted efforts.

It must be when we see what we saw in Al Gore's book "An Inconvenient Truth" not just in the Western countries, but right here in Asia. The unexpected floods, the torrential rain, weather that is out of character with what we've seen in the past years. Now even on the Himalayas, the glaciers are melting ...
